These are the best WordPress podcasts I've found. They have content for WordPress users (individuals or small businesses), designers, and developers. I listed them from most to least favorite. I prefer those that offer tips, recommendations, and tutorials over those that simply cover WordPress news.
None of the WP Candy podcasts are active any longer, so I'm glad to see newcomers like Matt Report, The Dradcast and Hello Dolly.
If you like these, you should read my other posts about podcasts. Iām always looking for more, so please add your favorites in the comments!
Your Website Engineer by Dustin Hartzler is my favorite by far. I've learned so much about using WordPress as a web designer and developer, and as a small business owner. I hung out with Dustin at WordCamp Grand Rapids 2012 (which I invited him to attend), and I've had the honor of being interviewed in Episode 104: Become a Full-Time Freelance Developer. iTunes
WPwatercooler is great for the hosts' range of opinions and advice. It features roundtable discussions about providing client services as a WordPress design or development business, WordPress development, digital marketing, and the WordPress community. It's also available on YouTube. iTunes
The Matt Report is a series of interviews with people who run businesses around WordPress, usually providing client services or selling products (themes, plugins, maintenance, etc.). The guests often share valuable business insights. It's also available on YouTube. iTunes
Two big names in the WordPress community, Dre Armeda and Brad Williams, are joined by guests to talk mostly about the WordPress ecosystem: news, events, and the community. It's also available on YouTube. iTunes
Hello Dolly talks about upcoming WordPress releases, theme and plugin development, and the WordPress community.
PleaseAdvise.fm features rambling discussions about the WordPress theme industry, development, technology and completely unrelated topics. It often features guests.
Thanks Chad! Glad to see that I'm still producing valuable content that's helping you with your WordPress business š
Thanks for that rundown. Dustin I listen to regularly. Will check the others out. Still like that crazy Boagworld. Your Leave a Reply box is really slow. Best wishes
John, thanks for the comment. My entire site has been slow for too long, and I'm in the process of moving to new hosting.
